Reducing crime through innovation: the role of Police and Crime Commissioners
On the fourth anniversary of the election of Police and Crime Commissioners the Police Foundation has today published a new briefing, ‘Reducing crime through innovation: the role of PCCs‘. The Briefing seeks to explore some key examples of innovation that have been driven by the introduction of Police and Crime Commissioners. At the same time, it also considers the barriers to further reform and hopes to highlight how these might be overcome, through drawing on examples of best practice.
