Trustees and staff at Barrow Cadbury Trust are deeply saddened by the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

For 70 years she has never wavered from her pledge to dedicate her life to serving her country and the Commonwealth.  During that time she earned the deep respect and affection of people across the world.  Her commitment to public service, and to putting duty before self, has been an inspiration to many and an example to us all.
