Head of Economic Justice (Birmingham)

Mostly recently the CEO of Birmingham’s Initiative for Social Entrepreneurs, Cathy has spent the last decade working in the voluntary sector, with leadership roles centring on workplace experience, alternative models of business ownership and social entrepreneurship. Previously Executive Director of Engage for Success, the UK’s social movement for employee engagement, Cathy puts people at the heart of everything she does.  Working to improve economic justice within Birmingham resonates very personally for her. 

Cathy says: “Economic inequality in our society holds everyone back. Growing a movement of people and organisations to bring about social change for the citizens and the great city of Birmingham is a career-defining role for me.”
