Faiza Khan MBE

Faiza Khan joined the Barrow Cadbury Trust board in February 2024. She is Chief Brand and Communications Officer at City & Guilds, having previously led the City & Guilds of London Institute’s corporate affairs and grant-giving foundation. Prior to that she was Director, Engagement & Insight for The National Lottery Community Fund, and Director, Policy and Communications for Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
Faiza has been an advocate for many of the organisations and causes that the Trust supports and has previously Chaired pan-funder groups to advance collaboration and excellence in grantmaking. She is passionate about achieving social change and has worked across charities, communities and government agencies at both local and national level to support better outcomes for those experiencing disadvantage. She has served as a Non-Executive Director and advisor to many cause-driven organisations, including as a Trustee for End Child Poverty. In 2014, Faiza received an MBE for services to young people, following her long-term commitment to supporting positive change for children and young people.
Faiza says: ‘I value learning from the Trust and the many organisations we support. As an organisation which is known for enabling social justice, system shift and challenge to the status quo – I am humbled to be able to contribute to the impact of the Trust as a Trustee. Our grant funded partners are making change happen every day, as are the excellent staff team at the Trust. In today’s world that positive power is needed more than ever.`
