Millie joined the Board in October 2021. She has recently relocated to Birmingham and is completing a School Centred Initial Teacher Training course with PGCE, looking to become a History Teacher, whilst also getting to know the City of Birmingham and West Midlands better. Prior to this she gained a 2:1 Modern & Contemporary history degree, spent time travelling and most recently spent 6 years working in financial recruitment.

Millie said: “The areas of focus that the Trust is involved in are all of deep interest to me and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to get more involved in these causes as a Trustee. Having spent 18 months shadowing the board, I am confident that I am joining a strong team who I can learn from, as we seek to have an impact and increase equality in our world”.
