The trustees and staff of Barrow Cadbury Trust congratulate former trustee and one time Chair of the trust, Ruth Cadbury,  on her appointment to Parliament as the Member for Brentwood and Isleworth‎.

The board formally accepted Ruth’s resignation at its quarterly  meeting in July. The Charity Commission and Companies House have been informed.

Whilst we are sad to lose her invaluable contribution to the work of the Trust, we appreciate her decision to dedicate all of her energies to her new constituency duties.

We all, and many others besides,  thank her for her long and purposeful service and wish her all the very best in her new role.
